I work as an artist and as an art critic. I love images and I have an urge to write. There is such a sharpness and clarity when working with text. Of course there are negative sides as well, incomprehensible catalogue texts, unappreciative editors and a bad conscience because I write about someone else’s art instead of working with my own. These are the things I want to tell, but when people ask me about how it is to be artist and art critic they ask if I’m not reviewing my friends and why critics aren’t more critical.
